You should hire me because I'm passionate and hungry. There are a lot of LXDs out there with the same laundry list of technical skills because that's the job, but beyond those skills, you want someone who is as passionate about the work as you are.
I’m a self-starter and I work independently, which you can see in the contract work I’ve done where I’ve had to take ownership of projects from start to finish without needing constant direction. But I also work with a learner-first mindset, meaning I’m always thinking about how someone will experience what I’m building, not just how it looks or how it’s delivered.
I’m also someone who actively evolves. My career change came from a commitment to not stagnate and to keep learning, testing, and improving how I support others in learning. I take feedback seriously and I use it to get better, not just to adjust once, but to refine over time.
At the core, I care about making learning experiences that are clear, usable, and actually change what people can do, not just what they know.
